Lakeridge Kids contains listings of community resources and seasonal events in East Durham. If you would like your event or service to
be included in the listings section, please send an email to listings@lakeridgkids.com.
Articles
Although unsolicited articles are welcome, we recommend that you
contact the publisher or editor of Lakeridge Kids with
your story idea before writing your article.
Feature articles in Lakeridge Kids should focus on
important parenting issues or on child-related activities, events,
or issues in the areas of academics, recreation, growth and development.
The article must offer insight, perspective or guidance to our readers.
Articles should be written in a highly readable, informal style.
All content must be technically accurate. Article length should
be between 1200-1400 words.
Lakeridge Kids has a number of department's or regularly-covered
subject areas, including safety, health, play, organization, media,
alternative health and environment. Department articles should be
approximately 750 words in length and should be practical, clear
and concise.
Accepted articles will be edited for length, style and clarity.
An edited version will be returned to the author for fact-checking.
To submit an article to Lakeridge Kids, send it in Microsoft
Word or text only format. You can send your articles by e-mail to sstanton@ lakeridgekids.com

Lakeridge Kids accepts hi-resolution digital photographs
(300dpi). If you have a photo of your family or kids that you'd
like to submit, please request our photo release form.
You can send your photos by email or snail mail.
